Hi,

could it be something to do with dead keys?

Using a Finnish keyboard, I seem to have 'keymap_layout=fi(nodeadkeys)'
in my weston.ini, I think because I wante to type the tilde.

This shouldn't affect the x11-backend of weston, though.
