Thanks for the reviews but please ignore the text input related patches for now, I have better versions in my git repo. I don’t understand why the patches showed up on the mailing list, I sent them with the wrong email and withdrawn them before they were moderated.
Unfortunately I did not find time yet to port the weston-editor nor the auto tests to text input protocol version 2, so this will have to wait until then. I will make the patches available tomorrow in a separate git in case someone is interested.
