So from mail, that's myself, Quentin, Emre, Erik, and Pekka supporting
the move, with qualified support (... semi-enthusiasm?) from Jonas.

Given that overwhelming balance, I propose to merge these patches to
Weston shortly before RC1, plus a similar set of patches for Wayland
at the same time.
