Inquiry about Internship Application and Project [EVoC]

I am a sophomore at IIIT Delhi <https://iiitd.ac.in/>. I recently got to
know about X.Org's open-source projects. The X.org wiki concerning the EVoC
talks about submitting proposals but I would like to work on a project that
has been listed on the ideas <https://www.x.org/wiki/SummerOfCodeIdeas/>
page-LibWeston Based Console.

Is the work on that project still available? If yes, what exactly do you
expect in the proposal considering the goals are well laid out on the ideas
page itself? Otherwise, are there any other opportunities available
involving the Wayland protocol?
