Is there anything that needs to be done to get the next release of wayland-protocols released?

I'm asking because there are pull/merge requests for four compositor
implementations (wlroots, KD) of the updated ext-idle-notify protocol
that are about ready to go, and the main thing holding up those
requests from being merged is that wayland-protocols 1.40 isn't out
yet.

I did notice that there was an unmerged MR to update the docs for
linux-dmabuf (https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/wayland/wayland-protocols/-/merge_requests/376),
and since there's another merged MR also with updates for linux-dmabuf
(https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/wayland/wayland-protocols/-/merge_requests/364),
it crossed my mind that the plan might be for both those MRs to be
merged before the next wayland-protocols release. However, that's only
a guess on my part.
