It would have helped to see the actual assertion failure message :-) but
I'm pretty confident this is the bug that Lars Knoll provided a fix for
in xorg/lib/libXfixes a few weeks ago. The fix has been in git since
then, and daniels just released a 4.0.3 tarball a couple days ago with
that fix in it (and no other changes since 4.0.2).
