[Xcb] Problems with libxcb-xlib.so on FreeBSD

Hello, I have just installed the latest version of xcb from git, and 
whenever I try to build something that uses libxcb-xlib.so, I get an error.

libxcb-xlib.so: undefined reference to `pthread_equal'

I am on FreeBSD 6.1 with x.org 7.1.  Does anyone have any idea why this is 
happening?  Half of X won't build.
