I had rather hoped to coordinate changes right now through the mailing
list, and not make any commits until the repo split was final. But
that's OK. We'll just have to re-run the script; you might as well keep
committing to the monolithic repo for now.
By the way, git-split is available at
http://people.freedesktop.org/~jamey/git-split
if people want to take a look at it or try it out.
A comment on development process: Josh and I remotely pair-programmed
this script, using 'gobby' to collaboratively edit it while sitting in
our respective homes. It was insanely effective. We did miss the lack of
an "undo" button though.
