[Xcb] Severe performance problems

Hello List!

I am using a Fedora-8 and have searched quite some time for an 
X-Performance problem. For me it looks like I hit some problems with 
xcb. A brief report can be found at:

I am currently working with the work-around using libX11 without xcb and 
this  works fine (and fast).

Do you know of any other help -- possible a real solution?
