[Xcb] Locking assertion failure on ubuntu 8?

Hi there--I ran into a locking assertion failure (see my post at

on Ubuntu 8. Based on a related post (
http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2006/11/msg00010.html), it
would appear that this mailing list may be appopriate for addressing the
issue. If so, please take a look at the above linked post. If not, sorry to
bother y'all with an irrelevant post.
