I took a look at what libxt is and my first reaction would be: That
seems deprecated as well. Isn't that the library that gives your
application the look of the previous century?
However, in Debian there are 174 reverse dependencies on libxt6t64, so
perhaps it is not completely unused. But still, what are the odds that
anyone of them will switch to an xcb version of libxt?
I know that I enjoy working with xcb more than with Xlib for writing
something new, but I would guess that someone using libxt is mainly
working with legacy code.

"Xaw3d library for xpaint.". I have no idea what that means, but it
somehow manages to sound ancient anyway.
What do you mean with "the repository"? The Git repo for libxcb should
only contain libxcb. Other libraries should have their own repo. And if
you want to port libxaw3dxft to xcb, feel free to just do that. I am not
here to block you and I know that I will not have the time to help much
either.
Cheers,
Uli
