Rebasing yocto to new freedesktop platform?

I would do all the work on the current runtime (1.4), because i'm
pretty sure the result will be trivially rebased to 1.6. That way
you're not blocked on any other work.

In the end, we might only take the xdg-utils update for 1.6, but we'll
see about that later.
