libxklavier (after GUADEC)

Hello all

On GUADEC, I had a quick chat with Havoc and he told me it could be a
good idea to discuss this matter here.

So, the subject is libxklavier. Originally, it was internal library for
xkb manipulations used in single project
(http://gswitchit.sourceforge.net). Now it is environment-agnostic thing
and there is one KDE-based xkb-related project (kkbswitch) which is
currently trying to incorporate it.

If anyone is interested, just go
http://gswitchit.sourceforge.net/libxklavier/, look at the docs and
download the latest release.

My question is whether it would make sense to put libxklavier under
freedesktop.org "umbrella" and make a part of this big cross-desktop
movement.

Regards,
