Enhanced Trash functionality

I would only like to see a specification about how the trash-bin should function; trash-bin layout and rules associated to the behaviour of the trashbin. 
The API suggested is all good but should be only one of many possible implementation; a proof of concept that could be the foundation of a trash vfs or IO-slave.

Is anyone currently working on such a draft ?
