Not really. :)

I don't have the perms on the system to create new mailing lists, and
now that each project has a separate CVSROOT, it has to be set up by
hand for each repo and I'm not in those project groups.

If we create an all-projects CVS commits list, I can very easily add
logging to both that and the project list (although why not just
subscribe to the individual project lists?) and I can give simple
instructions on what you need to do to set it up, but I can't do it by
myself for all projects like on the old box.
