This illustrate some problem with moder gui directions.

They are more writen for gui rewiers, not for computer users. Computer
users usaly is both gui and cli users, and some transperancy between the
two is helpfull to computer users.

More humen understandable device name is good, as long the rela device
name is still visable. Sometimes You want to use the device from the cli
to. It shuld not be a completly new lerning experiens. Somtimes You know
the real device name, You shuld not have to guess what 'human' name it
matches.

Nautilus showing only the directory name in the window titlebar is
another example. It's bad even when working with the gui. You don't know
witch of all doc folders Your watching. You have to guess it from the
content, not always easy as the filnames don't always reavel it, You
have to go to file content!

Providing ways to easy navigate the files without understanding the
fileheirachy is good, but hiding it is bad. Give the user the info the
user need!

Menus is another thing. They usaly dont use the cli appname anyway
(gimp-remote rather then gimp). But some way to get the appname would be
good. right click on a menu could open a propertys windows, giving a
description of the program, its cli name, links to bothe gui and cli
help, probably eaven some links to the pakaging system for
upgrading/uninstall.

Humen understandable (and localised names) shuld be the most prominent.
But the 'real' names and location of things shuld be avalible! Users
shuld not only be asisted in doing stuf, they shuld be asisted in
lerning stuff!
