Notifications system discussion

Just a quick note.. I'm in the process of moving, and may not have
Internet for awhile. It all depends on how fast the phone company will
set up the lines and DSL. So, I won't be around to answer any
questions, comments, praises, or flames. I'll try to get to them when
I get back, though, if there are any.
