Ah, very nice you come up with this :-)
I'd suggest a cross-toolkit-development section on fd.o, with a cvs module, 
mailing list and web page.
I'd also like to put my sources for a kde ioslave - fuse bridge there, also a 
kde ioslave - gnome vfs bridge isn't to hard to do. Also all the "let's 
integrate gtk/Qt stuff into OOo/mozilla/..." would fit good in this place.
