Actually in English you normally wouldn't lump it under "Science" -- and most 
mathematicians would protest at such.

There are a surprising number of differences between the implications of 
"Science" and "Wissenschaft".  (Just using German and English as an example 
- -- but this is problematic as academic fields tend to have pretty different 
implications in different languages.)
