desktop-utils comments

Hello,

I am not sure if this appropriate to email you here.  I am happy to
see that the desktop utilities that follow the Free Desktop
specifications are making their presense in the popular Distributions.
 But I do have questions on these tools.

The desktop-file-install tool does not seem to lend itself to user
menuing.  Is this the case or have I missed anything?
