GClipboard has been my main source of inspiration. I've had contact with
the author during the time it was build.

One uge issue with gclipboard, however, is the fact that it's using
Bonobo. There's simply noway other desktop environments will want to
depend on Bonobo/Orbit.

Therefor my proposal to redo this work using DBUS.
