It would be nice to support system wide (shared by all users) bookmarks as 
well. Perhaps by adding that bookmarks located under any of the 
$XDG_DATA_DIRS directories should be included as well.

Only for desktop-wide bookmarks of course, it makes no sense for recently used 
objects.
