xdg list address

Matthias' message <1129649389.2998.30.camel at golem.boston.redhat.com>
failed to be filtered properly by my mail clients, it seems because it
was addressed to xdg at freedesktop.org rather than
xdg at lists.freedesktop.org.

I've not seen this before - are all freedesktop lists accessible in this
manner? Should we setup filter rules with this assumption?
