.desktop files with relative icons ?

thanks for all your answers. Will this be added in the Desktop Entry 
Specification ?

I have another question regarding ".directory" files. In the "Icon 
Naming Specification", there are very few "folder" icons, most of the 
applicable ones seem to be "emblems", which, if I understand correctly 
(it is not explicit) are supposed to be added on top of another icon. 
How is it done with the ".directory" file ? e.g. how do I set a standard 
icon for a "directory with photos" ? (folder + emblem-photos ?). Sorry 
if I missed something.
