This is already possible (also, I didn't implement color palette yet)
when using xsettings-kde
( http://svn.mandriva.com/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/soft/theme/xsettings-kde/ )
which reads, monitors some KDE settings and publishes them as
Xsettings..
