Question on icon theme

is there any reason we couldn't do this on the fd.o wiki so that it stays 
close to the icon spec as a reference?

if that isn't doable (for whatever reason =), you'd be welcome to use the 
facilities at KDE's techbase[1]. you could even put those pages in the 
artwork project area of the wiki[2] where we have other icon information, 
such as our freedesktop.org naming spec working ground[3].

or maybe the tango guys could hook you up with some area on their website as 
it's also a wiki.

whatever would make you feel most comfortable, but i personally prefer to see 
such information stored somewhere that is known to be reliable like one of 
the Big Project's wikis as that tends to increase visibility and ensure 
future availability. however, it would be your effort and time so this is 
just a suggestion =)

getting the content together is the valuable thing here, where it is stored is 
secondary to that.
