Idea: Attention API

I'm familiar with a number of dbus-based attempts at a unified media
player control API and I'm equally familiar with all of their
lacklustre condition. In theory, something like MPRIS could be used by
an attention API (to actually handle the pausing/playing of media
players) but the attention API itself is a larger system that would
utilize but not subsume such activity-specific APIs. Thanks for the
info.
