Notifications spec: Icons

I know of no KDE dev offhand interested in implementing the shared spec right 
at this point.  Our KNotify author is Olivier Goffart who is still active and 
may be interested in doing the work necessary to hook the proposed fd.o spec 
into KNotify.  But I've not heard him talk of it (although I've only recently 
subscribed to the fd.o xdg list)

I can't speak for what KDE will and won't do but even discounting the amount 
of work involved over the month, the fact is that feature freeze is happening 
in a very short amount of time so I see no way for this to land in KDE 4.3.
