Making KDE and Gnome the gatekeepers for specs will bring the same
problems to the table that having the Security Council in the U.N.
does. Giving voting rights to only two projects (and codifying that)
seems like a death sentence to FD.o. It immediately makes all other
DEs and WMs second-class citizens.
