Not possible to use my account on bugs.freedesktop.org

Dear mailing list,

I created an account on bugs.freedesktop.org but it's impossible to log in.
I'm quite sure that I provided the right password (one go with password manager
   and another with the password from my mind).
When creating the account I was asked for my real name so I typed
"Matthias Müller-Reineke".

     Was that (German umlaut ü (non ASCII)) too courageous?
