Hello. The subject says it all. The [ character can have special meaning
in shells. To quote the dash manpage:
> A pattern consists of normal characters, which match themselves, and
meta-characters. The meta-characters are “!”, “*”, “?”, and “[”. These
characters lose their special meanings if they are quoted.
I believe that the [ character should be recognized as a "reserved
character" in the Exec key specification.
Thanks, meator
