libXevie is the Xlib-based client API for the X Event Interception
Extension (XEvIE). Its usefulness is somewhat diminished by the
lack of support for this extension in recent Xorg server releases,
but as existing code links to it, we maintain it for compatibility.
This release provides the cleanups and build configuration improvements
that have been made since the last libXevie release in 2006.
Alan Coopersmith (10):
Cruft removal
Add README with pointers to mailing list, bugzilla & git repos
Update Sun license notices to current X.Org standard form
Sun's copyrights now belong to Oracle
config: upgrade to util-macros 1.8 for additional man page support
man: simplify building of shadow man pages
config: Remove unnecessary calls from configure.ac
Add lint rules to enable code checking
