Hmm. The proposed fix is not correct. It breaks auto-repeat at least on OpenBSD 
if you don't change the default repeat rate (which relies on the hardware
auto-repeat) or if you disable XKB. 

I think the correct fix is to keep a private copy of the autoRepeat flag in the 
kbd driver, like the legacy driver does. New patch is following shortly.
