Hi,

I've been invesigating the TVout problem on Xorg driven linux distributions for
twoo weeks. Since now it seems that problem shows only in distros usin Xorg 6.7
with binary drivers ATI (3.7 to newest 3.9) and NVidia (5xxx and newest 6106). I
have ATI R9000PRO card (by Gigabyte). Under Fedora Core 1 (Xfree 4.3) there was
no problem to use TVout. Now I hav Fedora Core 2 with Xorg 6.7 and on TV got
only garbled clone of my primary head. Primary head is 1280x1024 DFP connected
via DVI cable, and secondary head is 21" TV set. I tested a lot of settings in
xorg.conf but nothing works.

As i wrote I've done some investigation. On the discussion forums www.rage3d.com
I found that there are more poeple with same problem with Xorg 6.7.

I sereched also www.nvnews.net. There are also people who cannot set up TVout
under Xorg 6.7.

There are more threads on the forums about same problems.
