Unfortunately, the Solaris source is based on an earlier version of the source
recently integrated into the Xorg tree, so someone will have to take some time
to manually merge these, bringing in the useful bits and leaving out those that
conflict with later changes or which don't apply here.

I don't have time to do that right now, so I've attached the two relevant source
files from Solaris and leave the merge as an exercise for whoever is interested
enough to volunteer.   (When you merge, please include the Sun copyright notice
and license - which is just the standard X.org license.)
