Summary: Xorg crashing w/o reason(?) (OpenGL prob?)
Product: xorg
Version: 6.8.1
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Driver/i810
AssignedTo: xorg-bugzilla-noise at freedesktop.org
ReportedBy: red_alert at the-psychiatry.ch
my Xorg is sort of crashing, without any comprehensible reason.
it happens for example, when I'm starting the screensaver or quake3...both are
using OpenGL, so it could depend on that.
but i'm already using Xorg for a long time, and had never problems with it until
now.
it's happening on my dell inspiron 500m, with an Intel 855 graphics chipset.
# lspci | grep Graph

Device (rev 02)
00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corp. 82852/855GM Integrated Graphics Device
(rev 02)
and of course, I'm using the i810 driver.
