libGLU not build on Solaris. In sun.cf I se this:

#if HasSunC
#define BuildGLULibrary NO
#endif
#endif

A quick test with % (DISPLAY=:0.0 LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$PWD/../../exports/lib/
LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT=1 LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libCrun.so.1
/usr/openwin/demo/GL/sparcv7/ogl_install_check) # (+ symlinking libraries in
../../exports/lib/ to match the libGL/libGLU versions of the native Solaris
OpenGL implementation) shows that this works...
