now I'm using CVS driver (compiled as explained in this page:
http://dri.freedesktop.org/wiki/Building) with 6.8.2 release, but I still notice
the old problems when direct rendering isn't enabled (running a second X server,
for example) and sometime minor glitches, for example vertical 1-pixel wide
lines on the left side of letters. I'm going to check this patch as soon as
possible.
