CVS compile - install - same problem

I pulled in the CVS build, then compiled the source with make World as user
followed by make install to install the cvs version. The tests and resolution
is the same.
I compiled the src.rpm and it failed in the same manner. Compiling cvs fails
the same but the fonts are better. Replacing the dri and drivers for ati/radeon
allows things to work correctly.
The log is from the CVS build with no hacks.
