Ok, with these applied (by hand) my sparc64 workstation seems to still
be working with the radeon driver.

But I'm still not comfortable enabling this stuff on non-X86.

There have been Xorg bugs in the past that ate people's disks because
parts of Xorg disabled the IDE controller device and I do not want a
repeat performance.
