Sun shipped a lot of Permedia2-based cards ( TechSource Raptor GFX 8P,  
re-badged as PGX32 ) - more or less a glint with VGA compat goo glued  
on top. They were also widely used in Alphas IIRC.
I don't think many of the old higher end glints are still in use though.
