doesn't this one need 0ae1632be045bfb and 264ce9e8360374b3a43 on top of it?

as it is, it's already inconsistent with the dix version since
72f5874434c0c dix: extend IsPointerDevice check to valuator-only devices.
was cherry-picked to 1.7.
