Xorg 1.8.x branch policy?

Hah!  Nice try, you can't get out of it that easily - I'm more than happy to
see you continue as you did a fine job with 1.7.x.

Okay - we should make sure the wiki documentation is up-to-date, but using the
same process for stable & master certainly makes sense to me.
