Twas brillig at 12:32:33 27.04.2010 UTC-04 when memsize at videotron.ca did gyre and gimble:

If you can't use your $EDITOR to edit document (and DocBook is really
pushing the limit here), then it is not a good document format.

Additionally, ODF is not diff-friendly.
