Yes, I suppose this could be the case. I haven't looked at how those
distributions do X startup. However, this is quite useful for platforms
like Maemo or other platforms using X with Upstart and booting strait
into the UI.

As I mentioned, I'm just sending this through because I would like to
keep as close to upstream as possible, so if it gets in, then good, but
it's not a big deal if not.
