Yes, the series look good and I've updated my branch:

  git://people.freedesktop.org/~krh dri2-invalidate

I wanted to fix the remaining mesa intel regressions before sending
out a pull request, but at this point I'm sure the problem is in mesa
and that the X server invalidate patches are fine.  I can reproduce
the mesa breakage with and without the X server patches and it bisects
back to my mesa commit d4496278.
