xcompmgr has problems with the XShape extension for ARGB and transparent windows

Hello,

xcompmgr has problems with the XShape extension when the window has an ARGB visual or _NET_WM_WINDOW_OPACITY is set.
Another problem is, that some artifacts are left on the screen when a window with the XShape extension is resized very fast.
This bug handles the two problems and has also a patch to solve both problems: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=20839

Another question: Is xcompmgr still maintained or is it a dead project (i.e. will the patch be included in the "near" future).

Please reply also to me and Yann Droneaud, because we are not on the list ;)
