That's pretty much exactly what I tried first and it didn't work.
Putting the relative path in the ENTITY reference didn't work either.

It looked like it would take writing a catalog file to do it, which
I hadn't figured out how to do yet.  I do see that I missed adding
the newly created link to CLEANFILES though.
