1/8 Remove support for kernel 2.4.
2/8 Comment odd EVIOCGRAB behaviour
3/8 Move error handling in PreInit down to the end
8/8 Remove libc wrappers for malloc, calloc and free

I couldn't convince myself the middle patches were correct without
learning more of evdev and input than I really want to know. :-)
