I don't mean to be picky, but you should amend the original patch and
resubmit.
Otherwise the patch is not bisectable, see git-bisect.
It's also less work...

Anyone trying to isolate a problem by going back one patch a time may
hit this failure.

Thanks for doing this patch, removing misleading docs is improving docs.
